A few people said that they'd like to see an upside down view, so here it is, with the facing done. What do you think? See my last post if you don't know what I'm talking about.
I think I like the first one better ovrall because there's more going on within the piece. However, I also really like the uneven edge of the second piece. When it's "upside down" I don't think it looks so much like a street; it loses the skyline feel. I do love the colors and quilting on both.
The first version with the uneven top edge reads more like a cityscape. I ran across Salsa City on the Houston site, they are showing the City and Town exhibit. Kudos
