Final Sun

My project for my Sunday Morning suns has come to an end. The prompt for this last one was "Abstract". I struggled with this one....how to make a sun abstract. I must confess that I was inspired by something I saw online. I backed my fabric with freezer paper and painted with a stiff brush and paints right from the tube, giving an impasto effect. I don't think this one will end up in in the quilted wall hanging I plan to make with all my suns.
