Fall color was at its peak this week in south west Connecticut. These pictures were taken in my backyard. I love September and October. I just wish they lasted longer.

Your yard is lovely. Our trees are essentially bare now except for the oaks and beeches, many of which will keep a good number of their leaves all winter once they've turned to nut brown.

With all the rain we had yesterday and today, the yard looks very different today. A lot of the leaves are gone.
