This is the last of my little series of quilts of the Northwest. It's supposed to be Mt. Hood in the background, but I'm not sure if I captured it correctly. Thus the title, the Meadow and the Mountain. I used Jeans Stitch thread again for the flowers. It really gives a wonderful texture.
That's enough of these little pieces for now. I'm surprised at how much time I spend on each one. Now I want to get back to my abstract work. I think I have some good ideas. Stay tuned.

Very cool, Norma!
I like this one!
Looks like Mt. Hood to me! (I live in Portland.) Lovely work.
These look great, Norma. I think your stitching adds wonderful texture to the flowers (great colors too, by the way) and the peaks of the mountain. A sure sale!
Looks great Mom! And it does look like Mt Hood!
Norma,
I grew up in the shadow of Mt. Hood, and camped many years at Carter Lake. They are just as I remember them, thanks for the trip back, over 50 years ago.
I now live in the shadow of Mt. Adams.

Another great job! I also think the flowers add the perfect touch.

A very nice composition, with a good balance of color. I love the flowers in the forefront - color and texture.
I love what you have done with these Norma. Each one has gotten better, but I must say I like the latest one the best.
