There will be a juried show at Etui Fiber Arts Gallery in Larchmont, NY., called SPUN. I was very pleased to have one of the two pieces I entered accepted. You may have seen this before because I made it for a black and white challenge at Northern Star Quilter's Guild last year. Since the gallery space is small, the quilts could not exceed 24 inches in any direction.

The show opening is October 17. My quilt will be in some very good company, so if you live nearby, please stop in.
I'm linking up with

Congratulations on the acceptance Norma. This piece is intriguing. I like the contrast between the flowing black lines and the straight red lines.
Is the background a whole cloth, or have you pieces that too to get the arrangement of curves?
This piece is even more astonishingly wonderful when I realized it's less than 24"!!!
Congratulations! I would love to see this piece in person, it has lots of texture and the detail needs to be seen close up. I have always been afraid to try abstract like work but want to try. Do you get quilting arts magazine? There is a call for submission in the latest issue for a new book or special issue for art quilts with geometric or abstract themes. This would be perfect.
What a beautiful quilt. I love it. So intriguing. It kept me looking to the red and black lines. Congratulans with the acceptance!
Love from Amsterdam
Congratulations!
Congrats! I haven't seen this piece before and it has such wonderful dimension!
Very nice piece. Congratulations.
You rock Norma! I have always loved black and white and red. Also love the small size. You're an inspiration.
