Rejected!

The emails went out this week for the acceptances into Quilt National and unfortunately I got the one that said "thanks, but no thanks".  I knew my chances of getting in were slim.  They accepted 85 pieces out of nearly 700 entries. So now I can show it to you and it will be available to enter into other shows.

It's beautiful work anyway; competition must've been extremely stiff! It will be fun to enter and show it elsewhere :)

It's a great piece Norma, I'm sure another show will snatch it up. The quilting is beautiful.

Love the piece! Rejections are always a bummer, but isn't it wonderful that quilting has come so far that this gorgeous piece is one of 700+? Exciting!

You shouldn't title your post Rejected. I'm glad you entered a beautiful quilt into such a prestigious show. That, in itself, is a success. I'm sure you are in good company with many of the ones also not chosen. It will find its niche.

Oh Norma, I feel your pain. It's a very intriguing quilt, and I can imagine it was fun piecing it. A lot of thought went into the color placement I'm sure. I hate the thanks but no thanks letters with no real explanation as to why...
Mine didn't even get finished!

I'm sorry this wasn't accepted but it is still a beautiful quilt.

It is absolutely wonderful! Remember acceptance to any show is dependent on only a few people's decisions.
