Another Embroidered Felted Bowl

These bowls are rather addictive and I find myself stitching instead of doing other necessary things.

On this one I embroidered a different whimsical leaf on each of the four sides. I used only Laura Wasilowski's hand dyed size 8 Perle cotton. I love it and would purchase more, but she no longer sells it. I have about a half skein left and hopefully enough to use on another bowl, which I have started.

And a little surprise on the inside of the bowl. I turned the bowl inside out to do this.

If you want to learn more about doing these bowls, you can take Laura's class, very inexpensive and lots of tutoring and ideas.  Go to her website for more info. laurawasilowski.com

Stay tuned for more bowls. They are addictive!

Easter 2026

My neice , Lauren, did her usual fantastic job of hosting the holiday Now she has it at her daughter Allisons's house, which is very big and can easily accommodate everyone with ease.

The theme this year was PINK.

Pink flowers on the table, very realistic faux pink hydrageas and real alstromeria.

She always has a signature martini. This year she used strawberry Bailey's, vodka and cream. Very potent. and delicious. She made the bunny ears by cutting marshmallows in half, smooshing them to shape and adding edible pink glitter. Glasses were rimmed by crushed graham cracker crumbs.

The great nieces and nephews are growing by leaps and bounds. Two of the teen boys are 6 feet or more.

And we can't forget the very cute and well behaved dogs, two in-house and one visiting.

The meal was delicious, a combo of traditonal Polish food and very American. A good time was had by all. My sister, Ruthie, and I stayed over and headed out the next morning.

I hope you all had a lovely holiday. The beginning of Spring, if it would only warm up a bit.
