More buttons

I must be insane to be carrying on with this, but it is oddly addicting. Remember that I sewing on each button and bead by hand. Oy, vay! I'm finished with the reds and dark pinks, except for a narrow band at the bottom and now will go on to light pinks. I didn't have as much variety in the dark pinks as the reds and yellows and I hope I'll have more in the lights.  Stay tuned.

I'm linking up with Off the Wall Friday.

This must take a lot of patience but I like how it is coming together a lot!

I love the way this is coming along! All those brightly colored buttons are awesome. You must have a really fabulous button stash.

this is stunning! It is weird I can sit for hours sewing on buttons for an art piece but let my hubby ask me to show a button onto his shirt! Totally different story.

Ha! Ha! I agree with Angela :-) I googled button art and am blown away with all the possibilities. Can't wait to see what comes of this

did I miss how you approached this? Drawn out first? It's so full of texture, reminds me of a quilter from Israel long ago... her name... can't remember but her work was coated with buttons. LeeAnna
